Berlin has an abundance of hotels and other accommodations that you can book directly or via booking systems. There is no conference hotel, but the following two hotels do offer special rates for conference participants. You have to explicitly mention that you take part in a conference at Freie Universität (FU) Berlin and ask for the university rate!

Freie Universität is in the quiet, southwestern corner of Berlin. The conference venue is the Henry Ford Building on Garystr. 35. The closest subway stop is “Freie Universität” on line U3. On the way to the university the U3 crosses through several lively districts (Charlottenburg, Schöneberg, Kreuzberg) that not only offer accommodation but also are home to many restaurants, coffee places, etc. If you’d prefer not to take different lines to get to the conference venue, you might want to look near the U3 stations Fehrbelliner Platz, and most stops between Augsburger Str. and the final stop Warschauer Str.
